True Greatness Comes Through Iteration

Iteration is learning by degrees, with intentionality and purpose.

A representation of this process can be found below.

You first start with your desired outcome. This will lead you to an idea. Next you build out a plan and act on that plan by experimenting. You measure the results of your experiment and evaluate whether it has achieved the desired outcome. If not, the results of your evaluation inform the next idea to get you closer to the desired outcome.

When combined with consistency over time, iteration becomes a force that builds momentum and impact. True greatness comes through iteration.

When thinking about doing something great, make sure you build in a feedback loop so you can measure and evaluate your progress. In my observation, these are the steps most often omitted.

What do you want to become or achieve? What is your process for doing it? Write it down – it will help you to become what you want to become.
