Improving Thinking

In my job I have the great privilege to learn from incredible people around me. I have previously written about iteration and have learned a simpler model that still encompasses the same idea.

In the observe phase we can focus on diagnosing a challenge or zooming out to better understand an opportunity for growth. This allows us to take in signals and various data points.

When we have data and signals, we have the responsibility as leaders to interpret them. In this interpretation phase it is important to bring in as many differing perspectives to be able to create the appropriate interventions.

Intervene is about taking action to address the challenge or existing growth opportunity. Here we mobilize our time, energy, and resources to make change.

I am grateful for wise colleagues that help me to evolve my thinking to change and improve. I invite you to consider reflecting on your held assumptions – can you challenge them and improve your thinking?
